Luke and Bens Plan

"Morning Mama!" coming from Luke and Benjamin's room. Nap was over and they were so ready for some play time. They started chanting "Moto-cycle Dirt!" they were completely gitty. So we put shoes on and I let them in the back to ride their bikes. Big mistake. "No way, Mama! No way!" "Dirt!" Oh DIRT... duh! I asked if they wanted a motorcycle adventure with Daddy and the answer was a big loud "YETH!!!". So we got busy... they put their bikes in the garage, we got out chairs together, some sweatshirts and diaps, and started whipping up yummy sandwiches and snacks. We talked all about how we were going to surprise Daddy when he got home, and take him riding. They were so proud of all their work. We took the car seats out of the van and got everything ready. Then they waited at the door for Russ to get home from work. He got home and they shouted "MOTOCYCLES DADDY!!!". Rusty was the best. He new exactly what they meant right away. He totally played their game!They loaded-up the truck and off we went for some fun in the dirt.

They road their bikes, ate, hopped on Dads motorcycle for a ride and danced like monkey boys in the bed of the truck until dark. Rusty had such a fun ride and I got to enjoy all my boys in their element. Great evening. Perfect plan, boys!
