An Afternoon of Stitching

Let the Christmas creating commence!

At about 11a I started embroidering this Queen Anne's Lace flower. It's 3:30p and I'm done! Mind you, in that time I also made lunch, visited with my Hubby, changed diapers, washed diapers, vacuumed (only the living room), made snacks, did dishes, bathed the boys (it was AMAZING how dirty they got in the backyard!) and put the boys down for nap. I'm so excited to make things for people I love! So here it is...
I wish it was stitched in white. I didn't have white though and going to the store would have meant not sewing. Know what I mean? I'm basically happy with it. Oh, and I made the pillow case too, but not today. You like?

The babies had a cozy day too...

  1. Very nice! I'm washing diaps today too. Sorta. I kinda forgot about them and this just reminded me I need to go start up another rinse cycle. :)

  4. Lisa: My fellow clothe diaperer! I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it takes like all day because I forget about them. Every time I do diaps lately, I think of what a crazy person I am. The boys are so ready to be potty trained. It just takes so much... everything; talking, cheering, cleaning, dressing, undressing, discipline. I've got to cut-my-head-in and get the job done.=/ Anyways, Lord give me ENERGY!

  5. Katie! Knit girlfriend! You can do it! It doesn't have to be perfect. Homemade isn't supposed to be perfect. At least that's what my mommy always told me=)
    Very fun! Do it!

Paula! Thanks. I can't wait to check you out!
